Going Steady
Puberty can make some change in teeangers physical, mental, and personality. Falling in love with the opposite sex is one of the effect. To prove their love, some of them decide to go steady with his/her crush. They do many things like hanging out together at saturday night, holding hands, hugging, and even kissing. We should realize that things can make danger to the young generation because the bad habits can grow in themself. So, actually going steady is something that should be avoid by teeangers especially students based on some reasons.
First, going steady can make the achievement of learning become down. When someone has boy/girl friend, she/he will prioritize his/her mate. So, for students the example is when there are a lot of homework or task to do, they would prefer choose chatting, calling, playing, or doing something with his/ her crush. The effect is the task will be delayed and delayed or even not done.They try to make their partner happy but neglect their responbilities. Beside that the students can also lose their time to study. If it happened their score for exam will be bad and make their report score in the end of semester become bad, too. In fact, the score become one of the decisive for their academic future.
Then, going steady can cause sexual harassment. It can be happened when we do out of the box. At first, a couple maybe just chatting and calling. After that, they start to meet oftenly, holding hands, hugging, and kissing in a silent place. If that habbit continously done, the sexual activity maybe will happen. Girl usually become the victim of sexual harassment doing by her boyfriend because lust and passion which arise from going steady. It is absolutely dangerous for the girl future because she can lost her virginity. A woman's dignity can be lowered with going steady by physic (by touching,etc.) or mental (by saying).
Third, going steady can make someone become possessive and blind. When the teenangers have that charcters, they will feel have powers to manage another person lifes. Some of them forbid his/her boy/girl friend to do something that can make jealous. It can make someone have limit space motion. Love is blind. That statement is true. Someone can do anything that even bad and dangerous to make her boy/girlfriend become happy. That things shouldn't be happen.
Based on the arguments above we should avoid to go steady because it can cause many bad things especially for teeangers students. When we falling in love to someone, it will be better to keep the feeling until we sure to get married. Adolescence should be use to become productive and creative person.
